In a devastated future where the world is coming to an end, the machine soldiers that mankind once created have gained an autonomous consciousness and lost their rulers at the end of the war with mankind.
In the ruins where the remnants of the battlefield fall as ashy silver snow, the protagonist continues his journey, relying on rumors of a “safe city,” only to find a ruined city and machine soldiers attacking him.
On the verge of death, he encounters Z-999, a giant machine soldier with a strange atmosphere. He hands the hero a small part and leaves, saying, “I will fulfill my promise. When the protagonist wakes up after losing consciousness, he finds himself in a military base left behind in a snowfield. He meets Yokosaka, a silver-haired scientist who repairs robots at the research facility.
In return for providing food, clothing, and shelter, he is asked to “help” Jokosaka collect “parts” from robots in the area surrounding the research facility.
This is a quiet, beautiful, and somewhat sad story of a record spun in a post-apocalyptic world. The Doomsday Maidroid, a selection-type adventure novel game
