About the Game

Story

Shimenka is a first-person horror game in which a man searches for the truth behind his wife's mysterious death.

However, while investigating, he is caught in an accident.

When he awakens, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place. Before him stands a strange, masked figure that barely resembles a human, along with two mysterious books.

Japan, the 1880s — the Meiji Era.

The protagonist, Minako Katanari, is struggling financially and accepts a job as a servant at a mansion known as Kamen Mansion, which is seeking new staff.

But the mansion is home to creatures that should not exist in this world.

Despite the horrors surrounding her, Minako endures with remarkable determination and continues carrying out her duties.

As Minako, your objective is to complete your work while searching for a way to escape the mansion.

Somewhere in Europe, 1980.

The protagonist is a journalist who writes articles about disturbing crimes that have recently taken place.

Exhausted from work, he accidentally falls asleep at his desk.

When he wakes up, it is already night.

Hungry, he begins searching for something to eat.

Then he finds it.

A large piece of chicken sitting on a plate.

...

Should he eat it?

The choices you make will determine the truth that unfolds. What will you choose?
