[FURRY TWINS おしかけケモミミついんず] is a modern-day folkloric fantasy visual novel in which Kengo, the protagonist, finds himself unexpectedly having to take care of mysterious twin sisters and gets swept up in strange happenings.
◆Story
"Kengo, in place of his frequently absent father, serves as the acting manager
of both a dog cafe and a cat cafe."
He’s shown little interest in people,instead pouring all his affection into animals.
One day, while eating lunch at college, he receives a sudden call from his father.
"I've hired live-in help starting today! I have my reasons. That's all!"
"Hey, wait! Dad…!"
Rushing home, Kengo finds… twin sisters?!
Unable to send them away, Kengo, Luna, and Hina begin their shared life together but...
Animal ears suddenly sprout on the sisters’ heads, strange links emerge with Kengo’s occult-obsessed father.
And then townsfolk’s personalities start to shift dramatically.
Will Kengo and the others be able to return to their peaceful lives?
◆Characters
・Luna
The older of the twin sisters, Luna has a whimsical, cat-like personality and is a bit cold toward Kengo.
However, she sprouts dog ears and a dog tail.
She and Hina moved to Tokyo from a rural village. She is a skilled cook, though not great at cleaning.
・Hina
The younger twin, Hina is friendly, and has a personality similar to a big dog.
Oddly, though, she sprouts cat ears and a cat tail.
Unlike her sister, Hina is great at cleaning but mainly enjoys eating rather than cooking.
・Konko
A fox-eared and tailed shrine maiden with a mysterious aura who has long protected the seal of the tiger and wolf deities.
Due to her unique bloodline, has a shorter lifespan than most humans.
・Kengo
"A slightly eccentric college student who loves animals far more than people
and has never fallen in love with a regular woman."
Kengo acts as the manager of the pet cafes in place of his father, an occult fanatic who roams the country.
After witnessing the twins in their furry forms, he may be experiencing the stirrings of love for the first time…?
