故事开始主角弈剑秋为了追回被人盗走的魔剑离开门派，途中遇到女主顾梦瑶，随后二人一起展开一段冒险，冒险途中也会有各具特色的队友加入其中，众人共同应对强敌，最终将其击败。
游戏中会遇到各种各样的队友，可以邀请总共20位特点鲜明的角色入队，每个角色拥有独特的被动和主动技能，还有两个特定的羁绊，需要根据羁绊搭配阵容，每套阵容都有不一样的玩法体验 。
游戏中有丰富有趣的装备系统，各种独居特色的套装可以自由搭配，每个角色还有自己的专属神话武器，除武器外其他部位也有几十种不同效果的神话装备可以选择，你可以按照你的想法将角色打造成独一无二的存在。
同时游戏中还有重铸、强化、魔化等功能，通过慢慢培养将进一步提升你的装备强度，战胜一个个强敌！
游戏中除了装备，还有魂石系统，每个魂石的属性各不相同，且不同的魂石搭配也会有不同的效果。
