Story
世界各大博物館與私人館藏自2079年開始傳出陸續失蹤珍貴藏品的報告，這些藏品各自具有不同的神秘力量。2080年臺灣文學館失竊了一副具有改變歷史力量的文物：劉吶鷗的麻將牌，國際刑警高度懷疑這是國際恐怖組織RISS所策動的行為。
該組織宣稱擁有「時空回溯」的技術，有高度證據指出RISS打算在二戰發生前夕，派出特務使用麻將，藉以扭轉二次大戰最終結果。玩家將扮演行動代號「獵殺1940」的國際特務，潛入RISS基地啟動時光機回到過去，尋回麻將同時將歷史導入正軌，以阻止RISS狂妄的野心。
