About the Game

Aphotic Depths is a short first-person underwater horror experience focused on exploration, survival, and environmental storytelling.

You pilot a small submarine into an increasingly darker place, descending through a surreal underwater world that mirrors the player’s own mind. Each section of the descent introduces darker environments, and fragments of lore tied to memory, and fear.

Your goal is to explore each area, locate a hidden artifacts, and survive long enough to descend further. Oxygen management, limited visibility, and deadly creatures force you to carefully plan your movement while navigating the depths.

The story is told primarily through environmental details, visual symbolism, and collectible lore elements.
