About the Game

Angels and Demons vs. Aliens is a 2-person semi-tactical roguelike centered around co-op synergy. Team up with a friend to stop an alien invasion. Play as an angel or demon, each with their own unique arts and playstyle.

Note: this game requires two players to be played.

When Heaven and Hell unite, something can't be right!

It’s 2012, and the prophesied End Times™ are here! Heaven and Hell are geared up for war, vying for (un)glory and control of the apocalypse. But when this battle for the ages is interrupted by the arrival of aliens, who abduct humanity, the two sides find themselves at a loss. After all, what’s the point of Heaven and Hell when there aren’t any souls left to judge? Too bad they’re too busy bickering to do anything about it…

Enter Arc and Anise, our (overworked and underpaid) heroes. As part of an experimental, covert mission centered around celestial-infernal collaboration, the two have been paired together to stop the invasion. Can they successfully work together to defeat this intergalactic threat?

CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER

Pick between two playable characters, each with a unique playstyle and set of equippable abilities they can unlock as you progress through a run.

Test out both and discover which character suits you best!

PLAN YOUR BUILD

Choose from a variety of augment and ability upgrades that change the way you play the game. Ability upgrades are unique per character while augments affect both. Some abilities only work when your partner also uses certain abilities, so make sure to talk things through before picking!

DEFEAT ALIENS

Battle against hoards of (cat-themed???) enemies. At the end of each stage, test your teamwork and skills against bosses!

MAKE SMALL TALK?

Watch the two coworkers attempt water cooler talk while juggling their alien-busting duties. Learn more about the world they live in, specifically with a corporatized version of heaven and hell. Features several different dialogue interactions that respond to choices made during your run.
