About the Game

Altarnode is a dark 2D top-down survival colony-defense roguelite where you play as an evil god protecting a desperate cult from endless waves of critters. Offer sacrifices through the Altar Node, expand your colony, and survive as long as your followers can sustain its growing ritual demand.

Keep Feeding the Altar

Kill roaming critters, let your cultists process their bodies into meat, and offer sacrifices at the Altar to keep your cult alive.

Build and Expand

Place new Nodes including pits, butcheries, storage, and defensive structures. Placement matters, efficient layouts improve logistics, while strong defensive positioning can decide how long your colony survives.

Your Divine Power

Strike enemies with mouse-driven attacks while your cultists focus on their ritual work. Every sacrifice empowers the altar and grants you greater divine strength.

Survive

Critters grow more dangerous over time while the altar demands larger and larger offerings. The moment sacrifices stop, the countdown start and Altar collapse begins.

Unlock Upgrades and Power

Earn Tithe at the end of each run based on total meat sacrificed. Spend it to unlock upgrades, improve efficiency, strengthen future starts, and discover new ways to survive longer.

Altarnode is a fast, replayable roguelite about momentum, pressure, and sacrifice. Build carefully, feed the altar, and push your cult a little further with every run.
