About the Game

You are inside a building. The ground shakes. The walls crack. And the only certainty is that every second counts.

Aftershock is a first-person suspense and survival game set in a corporate building moments after a devastating earthquake. No weapons. No traditional enemies. Just a collapsing environment, critical decisions, and the tension of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Your goal is simple: escape alive. But the path is anything but obvious.

The game is built upon real emergency protocols, delivering an immersive experience that blends realism, interactive storytelling, and environmental challenges. Each scenario demands attention to detail, logical thinking, and nerves of steel.

Created by an independent Brazilian studio, Aftershock also carries a greater purpose: part of Limbos Games’ profits will be donated to organizations that respond to natural disasters.
Games can entertain — but they can also educate, raise awareness, and help those in need.

Will you trust your instincts... or will you stop to think?

About the adult content:

Aftershock portrays a disaster in a realistic and intense manner. Therefore, the game contains:

  • Non-gratuitous violence related to accidents and disasters, including:

    • Scenes of mutilation and severe injuries;

    • Brutal and accidental deaths (falls, crushings, suffocations);

    • Presence of blood and injured bodies in the environment.

  • Constant psychological tension, with a claustrophobic atmosphere, distressing sounds, and difficult moral decisions (e.g., saving someone or seeking your own survival).

  • Potentially sensitive themes, such as:

    • Trauma, despair, and panic;

    • Mild to moderate self-harm in survival contexts (e.g., the character cutting themselves to escape debris or improvising medical care on themselves).

The game does not contain:

  • Sexual content;

  • Non-consensual sex;

  • BDSM;

  • Drug or alcohol abuse.

Despite the emotional intensity, there is no encouragement of gratuitous violence, nor use of weapons or combat.
The goal is to provoke reflection and empathy, exploring human limits in extreme situations.
