About the Game

AfterJoy is a short psychological horror game set in an abandoned industrial facility long after its permanent closure.

You play as a lone character exploring a decaying complex where something has gone terribly wrong. The building is silent, the machines are cold, and the past refuses to stay buried.

There are no weapons. No combat.
Only exploration, tension, and the constant feeling of being watched.

As you move deeper into the facility, the environment itself becomes a threat. Strange sounds echo through empty corridors, lights flicker without reason, and unseen presences react to your actions.

AfterJoy focuses on atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and slow-burn horror. The experience is designed to make you uncomfortable, not empowered.

Some doors should never be opened.
