About the Game

Aetherdrift is a first person adventure that puts a strong focus on fluid and precise movement by utilizing the surf physics known from source- and quake-engine games. Master a deep and nuanced movement system that blends speed and creative freedom with ultimate control.

Gameplay:

  • discover new areas on a vast world map by following different branching paths

  • rely solely on precise surfing or collect energy and spend it on various movement abilities   

  • dodge projectiles, shoot enemies and battle difficult bosses

  • no loading while playing thanks to level streaming

Story:

Explore a bleak world, that was abandoned by it's god before the creation was completed. Uncover the mysteries behind this forsaken realm and its inhabitants, by unlocking hidden items and audio cues scattered throughout the environment.
