About the Game

ABSCONDER is a fast-paced game about quick decisions and limited vision.

You must flee. You cannot fight them. They see what you see.

You are fleeing a totalitarian prison complex, chased through tight corridors and maze-like alleys toward the city’s edge. The camera is top-down, but your vision is restricted to wherever you look, so you only see a narrow slice of the world at any moment. That tunnel-vision forces split-second choices and makes every shortcut, hidden passage and sudden turn matter.

Expect frantic navigation, improvised escapes and the rush of near-misses. Levels are short and intense, designed for repeated attempts, each run teaching you something new about timing and route choice.

Find abandoned rooms, hidden cellars and the signs of a resistance that may yet be the key to freedom. Uncovering more of the map doesn't just help you escape faster, it also reveals fragments of the regime and the city you are trying to leave behind.

Short runs make the game easy to pick up, while map knowledge and the ever-present leaderboard reward players who want to chase perfect times.
