About the Game

A Thug’s Ascension is this short, dialogue-focused low-poly crime FPS, set in the crumbling city of Maratha . You play as Chief, a well known hired gun, kinda stuck in an outlaw rebellion against Dr. Sarkar, a cruel billionaire who wants to reshape the city using force, fear, and that self made distorted notion of progress. You fight, drive ,and make it through a grim story of crime, dominance, revenge, and loyalty as Maratha keeps falling deeper into chaos.

This is a dark, grounded, character-driven crime drama, exploring the dreams, chaos, and mental turmoil of two broken men with clashing ideologies, brought up on opposite sides of the great bridge. It's the story of what it means for them to find the human inside them once again, and as painful as it may be, rediscover who they once were.

In this epic four-hour-long campaign combining intense first-person shooter gameplay with deeply emotional storytelling, you explore, shoot, drive, and wreck your way through the slow-paced, dialogue-driven story delivered through the 47,000-word-long screenplay penned by writer-director Adi Chandra.
