About the Game

Features

  • A retro jRPG mixed with elements of cozy games. Turn based combat is mixed with an idle quest system, dojo battle gauntlets, fishing, and a world equal parts funny and mysterious.

  • Class system with wacky choices such as the Codwalloper who attacks with dead fish, Souschef who cooks enemies to turn them into items, the survivalist Scrounger, a parlor magician Rinkydink, and an essential oils salesperson known as the Oilist.

  • Battle strange and occasional fierce foes using golf clubs, foam rollers, projectile fish in classic side-view combat reminiscent of the 90s. Fill up the ZEST bar and activate it to give a character a huge boost!

The Halite Warriors vs. The Snail

It's called A Snail's Tale - that might lead you to believe that the snail is the main character, but nay, friend. The player takes control of Samson Spligglebarp, the noble descendant of a famed historian who is eager to make his own mark on the world.

Samson travels to the Halite Kingdom to enter King Phillippe's challenge, competing against other adventurers for a chance to be a Halite Warrior. The King reveals that he is eternally pursued by an immortal snail who will never rest until he is destroyed. Shenanigans then ensue.
