A Game About Penguins: First Catch is your free introduction to the world of A Game About Penguins, a multiplayer sandbox where cozy exploration meets hilarious physics. Grab your friends, catch fish, slide down snowy hills, and settle into a charming island full of things to do.

Fish, Slide, and Hang Out

Cast your rod and reel in 30 different sea creatures, then sell your catches for Penguin Coins and spend them on hats, backpacks, shoes, and other cosmetics. Slide down hills, take a swim, jump into arcade games like Hopster and Slip N Drive, run the Only Up restaurant minigame, and take on quests from the islanders. Throw snowballs, set off party horns, and mess with Magic Edibles that grow and shrink you on the spot.

This Is Just the Beginning

Meet other penguins, use emotes, exchange gifts, and adopt a pet to keep you company. Everything you find here is a taste of the full game, where the island opens up with more arcade games, more pets, more customization, and plenty more to discover.
