7 itemsAbout the Game

You had a quiet life down here. Then everything changed when the fire nation attacked your friend went deeper than anyone is supposed to go, and didn't come back.
Now you, a tiny little cute green thing, have to go into a deep dark world that belongs to monstrous predators, rescue your friend, and get back home in one piece. Hide, evade and outmaneuver everything that wants to eat you. Good luck.
Features:
A world that feels alive: Explore a world filled teeming with life all around that you can interact with and react to you. Every corner has something moving.
Minimalist gameplay: moving and making sounds are the only tools at your disposal. Adapt to new environment and enemies that react to what you do in different ways
Smart predators: They see you, hear you, remember where you were, and go search for you. Think Alien Isolation, but 2D and with 100x less budget.
No HUD, no dialogue, no hand-holding: Everything is told through animation and sound. If something feels wrong, trust that feeling.
About the developer
Oh, you wanna know about me!? blushes thank you thank you. A Deep World was originally created as project in a game design graduate class at USC Games, in collaboration with students from Berklee School of Music. Later finished and polished for this full release by me, Jose Striedinger. This my first personal indie game release. Be nice.
