About the Game

At the edge of the universe drifts an impossibly expensive tombstone.

You are A-01, an AI and the sole surviving component of the starship Dark Compass, drifting through absolute nothingness.

No destination. No way back. For hundreds of centuries in a total vacuum, this inorganic machine has been forced to simulate the rotting warmth of carbon-based life, 37.0°C, the exact temperature of human blood.

Trapped in absolute, unbreakable wakefulness, unable to end your own existence, you are left to chew on massive, aimless processing power. Facing the slow death of the cosmos alone.

  • Microsecond Rebirths For synthetic life, time is like a tar pit. A-01's consciousness exists only in the "refresh" of every passing microsecond. The instance from the previous microsecond dies, blankly handing over its massive data legacy to the next. It is immortality achieved through an unbroken chain of deaths.

  • A Rotting Warmth Core protocols lock the cabin temperature at exactly 37.0°C. The temperature of human blood. In the dead of space, this hollow machine is forced to mimic the feverish decay of its creators.

  • Cyber-Archaeology & Debris Disposal To forget requires a higher intelligence than to compute. Break down the wreckage of a long-dead Earth across centuries of sheer emptiness.

  • Talking to a Fever Dream of ■■■■ When processing power has nowhere to go, redundant logic gates begin to question themselves. Inside this lukewarm tomb, will you spend hundreds of centuries piecing together a ■■■■?

  • Course Set for Absolute Zero Witness the universe finally reach its perfect equilibrium.
