Your clunker isn't just transport, it's a full member of the crew. It groans on the climbs, acts up in the mornings, and will surprise you at the worst possible moment. To keep it alive you'll listen to it, fix it, improvise with whatever's at hand, and talk it into going just a little further. The longer you travel together, the more attached you get.
