About the Game

You decide who goes up, who waits, and who is sent back down.

0 2 8 is a first-person inspection thriller set at Station L028 — a vertical transit checkpoint separating the lower levels from the world above.

Passenger trains arrive carrying sealed modules. Inspect permits, return tickets, luggage limits and life-support readings. Assign each module one of three outcomes: clear it for upward transit, hold it at the station, or send it back down.

The regulations are simple. The people inside are not.

Your waiting area has limited space. Delayed modules consume oxygen, accumulate waste and block slots that may be needed for the next train. Missing documents take time to replace, complaints cost money, and violations you ignore may be discovered at another station.

Passengers, officials and unknown senders will contact you through your service pager. They may ask for help, offer rewards, issue threats or order you to ignore the rules entirely. Some are telling the truth. Others are not.

Every decision has consequences — but they do not always arrive immediately.

INSPECT THE MODULES

Examine passenger records, permits, tickets, baggage and system readings from a moving inspection platform inside a colossal vertical station.

MANAGE THE WAITING AREA

Hold problematic modules, restore their oxygen supply, empty waste tanks, request missing documents and attach cleared modules to later trains.

FOLLOW THE RULES — OR BREAK THEM

Obey official procedure, help the people trapped inside, accept secret deals or protect yourself. There is rarely enough time, money or space to do everything.

EARN YOUR RELEASE

Complete your penal assignment and collect enough release credits to leave Station L028.

Fail to meet the target, and the loop begins again tomorrow.
